CFW Environmental is part of the CFW Industries group. Originating as Continental Fan Works in 1966, the group has become a major supplier of fans and related equipment to clients throughout Southern Africa. CFW products have been installed on every continent, including countries such as Australia, the United States, Germany, France, Belgium, India and China.

CFW’s manufacturing facilities occupy more than 20,000 m² and the group employs more than 300 people. Types of fabrication undertaken include

• stainless steel and mild steel;
• CNC operations that include bending, punching, forming, laser cutting, lathes and machining;
• MMA, TIG and MIG/MAG flame cutting / welding;
• aluminium gravity-die casting.

We specialise in providing equipment for larger industrial applications. The company has built up a considerable knowledge base in fluid dynamics, psychrometrics, thermodynamics, machine design and related fields. CFW Environmental has long design experience and an effective quality control system, which is established and maintained according to ISO 9001 guidelines and is annually audited. All pre-engineered fans used in our systems have been tested in our research and development laboratory, while custom fans for particular applications are designed and developed by means structural dynamics and fluid dynamics software.
