For small-scale drying of fruits, vegetables, herbs, meat and other products, we offer the CFW Mini Dryer. These units can dry products in batches of 50-250 kg, depending on the type of product. It has a hygienic stainless steel interior with trays.

The Mini Dryer uses the heat and vent principle and uses only electrical energy for heating. An extract fan is used to remove moisture-laden air. This is a variable-speed fan that can be operated independently of the air circulation system. This drying oven provides the following features:

The Mini Dryer is equipped with built-in temperature and humidity sensors and a computer control panel. This enables intelligent switching between dryer functions, ensuring that the drying process proceeds according to the user's programming. The system offers:

To ensure that the product inside does not lose quality, the exhaust fan can be programmed to continue operating at maximum speed the humidity level drops below a certain set point. This is a useful means of minimising the amount of time that the relative humidity in the dryer is above 70% RH, which can cause rapid deterioration of the products inside at the elevated temperatures needed to speed drying.

Because the rate at which moisture is removed from an object changes over time, the Mini Dryer can be programmed to function in different modes over the course of drying a batch of product. The use of different temperature settings during different drying phases helps to save energy and help to prevent product loss, since the application of more heat after a certain time will not substantially decrease drying time and may damage the product.
